Here is the sixth instalment in my series on common juicing mistakes:

Making “Kitchen Sink” Juices

What I am referring to here is making a juice with every ingredient you can grab in it. When I first started juicing I would often ignore the small number of recipes I had, grab one of every fruit and veggie in our kitchen and juice them all together. I was trying to maximise the nutrition, but rarely did I enjoy the results. My experience in nearly 5 years of juicing is that simple juices are often the tastiest. Just like any form of cookery, experimenting with your own recipes and adapting the ones you read in books or online to fit your own palette is a great idea, but also, just like traditional cookery, too many flavours can ruin a meal.
