Here is a great little recipe from Kitten the Juice Pirate who has lost 250 pounds through juicing.
- 1 apple
- 1 cucumber
- 4 stalks celery
- 6 kale leaves
- 2 handfuls of spinach
- 1 grapefruit
- 1 lemon
- A large chunk of ginger
- A handful dandelion leaves
- Few sprigs of coriander (cilantro in US)
- Few sprigs parsley
How to Make It
Simply juice the apple, cucumber, celery, kale, spinach, grapefruit, lemon, ginger, dandelion leaves, coriander and parsley. Serve over ice.
Note: if you are using a centrifugal juicer (like the Philips wide neck juicers, Sage juicers or Breville Juice Fountain) then I suggest chopping the apple in half, then put one half of the apple in the chute, packing the leafy greens in tightly and placing the other piece of apple on top. Then juice the other ingredients. This will get you the maximum yield from the greens.
