No summer in the UK is complete without strawberries, so here is a little strawberry juice recipe perfect for a summer’s evening.
Strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C and vitamin K. They also provide folic acid, manganese and potassium.
Strawberries can help with digestive ailments, and skin irritations. Strawberries also contain powerful antioxidants and are thought to protect against inflammation, cancer and heart disease.
- 10 strawberries
- 1/2 red pepper
- 1/2 cucumber
- 2 apples
- 2 sprigs of mint
How to Make It
- Wash / clean all the produce
- Juice the strawberries
- Chop and juice the red pepper
- Juice the mint
- Chop and juice the apples
- Chop and juice the cucumber
Note: If using a centrifugal juicer you will need to pack the mint and strawberries between the 2 apples.
