I could never guess what the outcome of my juicing journey would be. Sure, you hope for weight loss, improved health and vitality but I never expected some of the other benefits.

The biggest surprise is the amount of like minded people that are out there. Awesome people that are actively transforming their lives through juicing and nutrition! The deeper you scratch the surface the more inspirational people you find. Whether it be on social media or out and about in public.

In the last few weeks I have been lucky to meet some of these people in person. Last weekend my wife and I went down to Cardiff to help out on the Natural Juice Junkie stand at the Eat Well Live Well exhibition. Imagine my shock when I bumped into people that knew who I was because of my activity on Twitter! It was a bit surreal but a lovely surprise all the same.

It was also lovely to see friends that I had met previously as well as meeting people that I knew about, and even communicated with, but had never met in person before.  People like Paul and Deborah Butcher who are so enthusiastic about juicing and life in general. SuperJuiceMe star, Andy Morris, who I had exchanged a few private communications with but finally I got to say hello and shake his hand in person.

In a couple of weeks I will be at Reclaim Your Health: The 2 Day Natural Juice Junkie Masterclass. Neil has kindly invited me to share my story and I am not only humbled by the request but incredibly excited at the prospect of spending some time with more inspirational juicy people.

I think all of this contact is incredibly important. Shared experience can lead to shared inspiration and motivation. There is an old African saying

“If you want to go quickly go alone. If you want to go far, go together”

I believe that this is a fundamental truth. It has certainly been true for me. I couldn’t have got where I am without the support of my family and the inspiration that I find from connecting with many of you.

This weeks juicy news is that I have lost 2.5 lbs since my last weigh in. Im starting to slowly pick up momentum again after a couple of months of floating around the same sort of weight. Im still feeling energetic and healthy. I just need to pick up exercise levels even further to break through this psychological barrier I seem to have created for myself.

So whether it is in person or via social media I look forward to connecting with you and hearing about your success.

Lets go far, together.
