Parsley provides 574% of the daily recommended value of vitamin K, helping to promote bone strength. It has also been shown to help with the treatment (and possible prevention) of Alzheimer’s disease by limiting neuronal damage in the brain. Parsley also contains 3 times more Vitamin C than in oranges.
- 2 apples
- 1 big handful of kale (about 40g / 1.4 oz)
- 1 small handful of parsley
- 2 sticks of celery
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1/2 lemon (wax-free, skin on)
How to Make It
- Wash / clean all the produce
- Juice all ingredients
I make mine in the Optimum 600 Cold Press Juicer. Note: if using a centrifugal juicer it is best to pack the kale and parsley between the apples.
