I have a confession to make. I used to be a perfectionist. Nothing I ever had or did was enough and ultimately I never felt like I was enough either.

Perfectionism was one of the root causes of the depression that affected my life on a daily basis for over 10 years. When I started to accept things as they are, rather than as I wanted them to be, life started getting better.

I’ve slowly learned to stop looking for perfect. The perfect I wanted to find does not exist. Instead I embrace perfect imperfection.

Anything you want to achieve… DO IT!

Imperfect action always beats perfect inaction.

Stop trying to get everything to be 100% perfect and embrace 90% (or even 50%).

Done beats perfect EVERY time.
